Not sure what to say?

To those who knew Dean, some knew him well, others not as well, but one cannot erase his image from one's memories

we always used to call you uncle dean you were the best teacher in bible school i have ever had. you showed me a lot of different things about teaching and you were always creative. you had me and my cousins and my sister and even my youngest brother but i knew you from my childhood at coloma at the bible church every bible school we went to i was so proud and happy to be there it made my memories great and even my parents knew you and had you. you were the best man i could have been taught...

I went all thru school with Dean and was very sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Uncle Dean was a huge part of our growing up in the Lord. My father was the pastor of Calvary Bible Church in Benton Harbor, Michigan for almost 20 years. We are all very sorry for your loss and so thankful for his impact on our lives. He was a dear friend in the ministry to my father, Philip Platz.

The Brown families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dean Brown did VBS for our Salvation Army Corps for a number of years. He was a great teacher of the Bible to us all. Well done good and faithful servant! Enter into your Heavenly reward. CHARGE!!

Prayers r with u Cherie and the family. Uncle Dean will be greatly missed. He in 2013 had a real impact when I was helping with VBS at Coloma Bible Church after I lost a friend to cancer.

Praying comfort and a peace that passes understanding for Uncle Dean's family. I'm ever grateful that he taught me the joy of learning God's Word at Bible School at The Salvation Army in Kalamazoo. I hope I can pass the same joy to my students at Oakland Christian School and especially to my daughters! His teaching was memorable and life-changing.

Our thoughts are with the Brown family during this difficult time. We are thankful for the many years that we have known Dean. There will never be another like him.
