Reading Dean's obituary I was happy he had the chance to be a foreign exchange student himself and travel to different countries.

I'll never forget I had, back in 1985, the great chance to be myself a foreign exchange student in Shafter with the Tracy's, a wonderful family who has become to me as important as my "genetic" family. And all this thanks to you.

Deepest sympathies for the family. Dean was a sweet guy who made the most of what God gave him. He threw himself into character in our high school play, (and what confidence for Dean to try out for the shcool musical!) But a decade after that I hired Dean for his "first real job" after college. I watched proudly as he found his way through some tough assignments, and I saw the pride he felt picking up fat paychecks and becoming more independent week by week. Sorry I haven't run into you...
