Family/friends, Dean must have been so much more beloved than I ever imagined. The messages and the obituary posted for over a month are testimony. In my lifetime of nearly 78 years the testimonies to him are very telling. Our world will certainly very much miss his contributions and gifts. My our risen Lord bless Ken Kenneth P Johnson, Lt Col USAF (Ret)

My deepest condolences. Dean and I worked together at the Governor's Center for Local Government Services and DCA before that. He was a staunch ally of the volunteer fire service and a polished local government instructor. I will remember him for his support of others and me. Kenneth P. Johnson, Lt Col, USAF, (Ret)
