Dean Percyville Fletcher, Sr., 81, of Camden, AR died Monday, September 27, 2021 at his home. He was the son of the late Joe and Myrtle Jacobs Fletcher. He was born in Hermitage, AR on July 19, 1940. He was a foreman for International Paper Company Woodlands Division and a member of Circle C Riding Club. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Fletcher; sister, Dorothy Sue Blundell.


He is survived by his sister, Jeanette Yarborough of Little Rock, AR; brother, Lyde Fletcher of Maumelle, AR; two daughters, Donna Graham and husband, Billy of Webb City, MO and Debra Booth and husband, Bopie of Camden, AR; three sons, Dean Fletcher, Jr., Dennis Fletcher and wife, Renee and David Fletcher and wife, Stephanie all of Camden, AR; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.


Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Proctor Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00AM Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Fletcher Cemetery, Camden, AR. Bro. David Dillard will officiate.

I grew up around Mr. Dean when I was a kid. My dad thought a lot of him. He was a sweet man. My heart and prayers go out to all his family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Dean s passing. He was a good friend to us and we cherish all the times we hunted together. Dean and Tim worked together on the Prescott International Paper Company woodyard for many years and we all spent time together. Many prayers for this family. RIP Dean

Dean was a life long friend. We were both members of Co B 206th Tank Bn.39 Inf.Div. Ar. Nat. Guard. May his family find peace during this time of loss and adjustment.
