Dear Mavis and Family,

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Dean and I were great friends during our High School years in Hamilton, ND. He was great fun to be with. His children and grand children might not know, he was the finest football center Hamilton ever had. How ironic he would live in Canton----America's football home. We last saw Dean at the 2000 reunion. He was as much fun to be with then as he always was.
