I always remember Dean on 2/19 fondly for his friendship and fun memories of our times in Almont! I was always impressed that he learned to play guitar on his own - spending time in his room at home and just playing to music on the radio. House of the Rising Sun was always a good one to start with and also Smoke on the Water! Although he was more on the quiet side compared to me what adage "Always look out for the quiet ones" was never more true than with Dean - his wit was fun to witness!...

Dean, you were my best friend in high school. We last saw each other in 1980 when we met with my Dad in Century City, CA. I followed you and your family through your Christmas card letters and thoroughly enjoyed your adventures! Godspeed my friend. You left us far too soon. My best to your family.
