I grew up 2 doors down from Dean, in San Jose, CA. My brother and I some who were some younger at times found ourselves with Dean as our babysitter when our our parents went out for the night. I always remember Dean as a happy and kind guy.

From elementary school to junior high, on to Branham and then to Santa Clara University. With a scattering of kid´s birthday parties, it was a journey that feels so short now. But a friend never forgets. Thanks for teaching me Chess. I now play with my grandson. And, by the way, my oldest son is named Dean. You directly and indirectly influenced many people in a positive way which is a great epitaph to have. Sleep warm. I´m right behind you. Frank

Dear Christine and family - I am deeply saddened to learn of Dean's passing. I learned so much from him when we worked together in the department of law, from how he celebrated his Italian heritage and from how he handled his journey with cancer.
