Not sure what to say?

It was nice to see this reminder of Dean. He was such a nice man. Nice sounds a bit trite and old fashioned but the pervasive ethics, morality and humor are much of what I remember. I knew him through church and many lovely brunches at Anthony´s in Ballard. He is missed. His life made a difference.

My condolences to Brian and Cam. I only just learned of your dad's passing today.
To me, your dad will always be Mr. Hardy, the Scoutmaster of Boy Scouts of America Troop 114, standing watch over our weekly troop meetings at North Beach Elementary School.
Mr. Hardy, one of the good guys and active dads who shared so many hours to guide us to those week-long visits each August to Camp Parsons on Hood Canal; a few winter "snow camps" at Camp Shepard; and many weekend...

My condolences to Brian and Cam. I just learned of your dad's passing today.
To me, he'll always be Mr. Hardy, one of the good guys and active dads and the Scoutmaster of Boy Scouts of America Troop 114, presiding over our Monday night troop meetings at North Beach Elementary School.
More than 50 years later, those annual week-long August visits to Camp Parsons on Hood Canal, along with the winter "snow camps" at Camp Shepard are among the most vivid memories of my junior high school...

Dean-san, please rest in peace. I will never forget your kindness. Thank you very much.

I would like to convey my sympathy to the family. I met Dean during my early career at NBBJ and liked him for the kind of man he was. A few of us still at NBBJ had lunch with him a few years ago and that was a nice time. My memories of him are good ones.

I am so sorry that Dean passed away. He was a delightful man with great depth, wisdom and wit. He is someone who really created a lot in his lifetime. I'm going to really miss him but I feel very blessed to have known him.
