Not sure what to say?

I had the good fortune of being paired with Dean to write some EM courses over several months time. I got to know him well and loved the pictures he shared while dressing up as Santa. He was a truly good person who made a positive difference in the world. I was so sorry to hear of his passing- my deepest condolences to the family.

Dean was a colleague, neighbor and friend from Navy days in RI. Deepest sympathies to his wife Gail, his family and friends. Semper Fortis and may he rest in peace.

I got to know Dean at IAEM. What a smart man he was. He will be missed!!!

I knew Dean from The Lake County Haz-Mat Association through the BP. Fire Dept. Dean was also one of my Instructors at Purdue University in Hammond. Later, after I became a member of Whiting Masonic Lodge, I found Dean was a Past Master of Griffith Lodge. Dean was a great Instructor and had a real business sense about him. The world willbe a smaller place without him.

My condolences to the family for their loss. I'll never forget the Captain.

Our prayers and sympathy to Gail and the family.

As God would have it, today, while going through old boxes, I found a book that Dean and the staff signed for me 25 years ago with encouraging words for my future success. I smiled and decided to...

My deepest sympathy to Dean´s family. I don´t know how many times he and I walked - or sometimes ran - home from school together talking, laughing or complaining about grade school or high school. Dean was a really good guy. He helped me out more then once. I was amazed at all the things he had done and the degrees and honors he received. But not surprised. He was a hard worker even when we were kids. He was a man to be proud of. Rest In Peace, Dean. You certainly made the world a better...
