Dr. Dean W. Lytle

I was a graduate student of his in 1974 and 1975. He was on my Masters thesis EE committee in 1975. He was one of the toughest professors I ever had. Probability, statistics and stochastic processes were his forte. I used to talk to him in his office after some of his classes. Prof. Lytle was a great teacher. I was his student in 1979. Probability and random process was not one of my favorite subjects but after taking the course from Prof. Lytle I overcame the fear. Many times I used to see him during office hours and very patiently he used to explain the subject.

I was one of many students of Dr. Lytle in the 1980s. I came on this memories page late, but I wanted to share my appreciation for a great instructor.
