Dean Joseph Martin, 61, of Cape Cod, MA., and Midlothian, IL., passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his current home in Venice, FL.
Dean was born in Chicago, IL. to Frank and Dorothy Martin, on October 5, 1952. Dean graduated from Bremen High School and studied Sports Medicine at A.S.U. His first true love was baseball, in which he excelled at many levels until an injury curtailed a promising pitching career. Dean leaves his loving wife Susan, son Ross, step-son Patrick and daughter-in-law Susan. He is survived by his older brother Don, his wife Jackie, and their daughters Kelly McDonnell and Stacy Dumas. He will also be missed by his 17 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. Dean was a loving husband and father... May his soul fine peace and comfort. A mass will be held for Dean to celebrate his life on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Osprey, FL.
