Having known him for many years and worked with Dean when we were on the Fire Commission in town, he was truly an honorable and a compassionate person. The town will miss him dearly.

Since Mrs. Bolles’ kindergarten class in 1958, and throughout the subsequent 12 grades until our senior year, a great and true friend. Although our lives took us in separate ways, it was like having seen him yesterday when our paths would occasionally cross again. He made it that easy. Although East Hampton would produce a governor and a host of other characters along the way, none would be a truer son to her than Dean. Well done!

Sorry to hear of Dean's passing. I had the honor of working with him on the Town's Public Water Task Force. He will always be remembered as someone who placed the needs of the Town first and someone who got what we were trying to do. Dean, God's speed and to the family my prayers will be with you
