Not sure what to say?

Dear friends and family especially
Mary Balluff. I express my sympathy to you all on your loss, what a wonderful gift from God you all shared.

My condolence to the Nerdig family. I was fortunate to have had Dean as my vocational agriculture teacher at Forest City High School over fifty years ago. May he rest in peace.

Dan and Michelle,
I was very saddened to hear of Dean's passing. Know that you and your family are in my prayers.

We are sorry to hear about the death of Dean. He and Berdean drove me to Iowa State University on their own time in their own automobile and helped enroll me in 1952. This directed me (Lee) into a wonderful future. We will also miss those short visits with him in Nora Springs.

Pastor Dave, Linda, Benjamin and Jonathan, We remember many occasions when your beloved parents were with us at Bethesda. Our deepest sympathy.

All your friends at Bethesda Lutheran in Ames

To the Nerdig family, Ruth and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have many fond memories of both Dean and Berdean. Through life we have used so many of the things they taught us. Ruth and Ralph Westerberg

We live north of Nora Springs and Dean was always interested in what was happening on the farm. A couple of years ago when he was still able to get around he came out and rode in the combine to see how things had changed. He was very interested in the GPS and was thrilled to be able to see how everything worked and...

Pastor Dave, Our very sincere sympathy in the passing of your Father. We were in Buffalo Center yesterday for the All School reunion when they announced during the program of his passing. May God's Blessings be with you and your family during this time. Very Sincerely, Gerry, Marlys Daniel and Andrea Hartman

DEAN WAS MY AG TEACHER AT FOREST CITY.HE WAS THE BEST AG TEACHER I EVER HAD. OVER THE YEARS I HAVE SEEN DEAN AND HE WAS THE SAME PERSON AS HE WAS WHEN HE WAS TEACHING. ALWAYS SO FRIENDLY. IN FACT I WOULD SAY HE WAS THE BEST TEACHER I EVER HAD.
