To the Pfost family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I heard of his passing yesterday. His life was a life well lived. I have so many great memories of growing up with him as my bishop. You're a great family. I sincerely hope you will be comforted at this time.

Bishop Pfost and Sister Pfost were both pilliars in my life growing up in the 9th ward. I especially remember Bishop Pfost stopping by our house late one night to have prayer with us children. Our mom was away at the hospital, with my dad who passed away later that evening. That gesture is one of many Bishop Pfost extended to our family. I have many wonderful memories that include the Pfost family! My sincere condolences to you at this time.

Love,
Yvette Barrus Zobell

To the Pfost family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bishop Pfost was a special part of our lives, and a great influence in our courtship and marriage. We have passed his advice and counsel on to the youth we have worked with over the years, as well as our own three children. So many wonderful memories…loved visiting you on your mission in PA, and our trips back to IF.
With love,
Kathy and Ron Ahrens

I am so sorry to hear of Deans' passing. He was truly a great bishop when I left to serve for 2 years. I know my father thought very highly of him through out the years. My condolences sincerely.

Sister Pfost, Jan, David, Judy, Debbie and Eric: I have many many wonderful memories filling my mind and my heart as I read of Bishop Pfost's passing. Each memory vibrates with love and an example to emulate. Each of you have impacted my life in so many positive ways. Please know of my love and faith at this time.
