Funeral service for Dean Rainey, 83, of Hartselle will be Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jess White officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery, Cullman County. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Rainey, who died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at her residence, was born April 29, 1931, in Tennessee to James Stover and Etta Litrell Stover. She retired as a nursing assistant at Decatur General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husbands, I.E. "Buck" Rainey and Hilton Lawrence; seven brothers and sisters, and her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Williams of Decatur and

Teresa Ann Smith of Hartselle; two sisters, Sarah Blackwood of Hartselle and Sue Scheinert of Trussville; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three stepgreat- grandchildren and two stepgreat-great- grandchildren.
