Not sure what to say?

Dean is listed as one of the two OU players who blocked a U of Texas punt in the 1950 game that gave OU the national championship in the rivalries section of the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta GA. He was a great guy.

Dean was a great role model and mentor in the Gideon ministry as well as a great conversationalist/story teller and role model as a man and businessman . He regularly traveled to churches in this area to give testimonies about the faithfulness of God through His Word( Isaiah 55:11) , particularly in the form of Gideon- placed Scripture .

Dean was a great man. A life well lived!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Smith family, I loved Dean and very much enjoyed taking care of him and loving on him. I loved hearing his football stories and reminding him of his glory days at OU. He will be missed around the house. Love u Mr Dean may you play football in heaven with the angels.
