Not sure what to say?

Uncle Dean will be greatly missed. I was so proud of him, making that long trek down from Omaha to Tulsa, to spend time with my Dad multiple times (thanks Frank), especially when my Dad (Marlin) was dying, and he needed the fellowship and encouragement badly.

Roxanne, Shirley, Dean and Wandetta and families, I KNOW how bad you are all hurting. First loosing your Mom, and then now your Dad. I definitely can relate. The pain goes deep and really never stops hurting.

We are...

Rox, Shirley, Deano, Detta and ALL Other Family Members. As many of you may know, we became close friends with Barb & Dean and many other family members; in August of 1968 (several of you had not even been born). God had our paths cross when we briefly lived in the rental house across your driveway. Barb babysat with Chuck, Jeff & Bill when necessary, while Shirley worked at the Club 64 in Council Bluffs. Dean loved to discuss his Christian Faith and we really enjoyed our religious...

Dad I'm glad I got to spend the last years of your life closer to you. We went to the bass pro shop opening a Nebraska football game together we but didn't get to go fishing. Some of my fondest memories are fishing with you and Grandpa B, and hunting and you were at every important event in my life. You were the best father a son could ask for. You will always be in my heart right next to mom. I'm glad your sufering is over and your where you want to be with mom and all who past before you....

Dean, we are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers durring this time.

Thanks for your Military Service.

Grandpa,
I can't believe you are gone. I never thought that in the four years of medical school in Omaha, I would lose both grandparents. I have so many memories from both my childhood and adult life, but I will keep those to myself so that others can remember you in there own way. I'm so glad that the pain is finally gone and I am sorry that your last days were so unbearable. It saddens me that I will be leaving for Miami so soon. I know that the family is close in heart and...

Dad I will miss you more then you know. You were my rock. I learned so much from you and You always made me smile. I don't know what I will do without you. I loved having you in our home during your last day's. You are now in Heaven where there is no pain. I remember you telling Detta and I that is where you wanted to be. You are now with all our loved ones that has passed.

Daddy I love you!!!
Your oldest Daughter

Rox, Detta and Shirley,
Your Dad was such a nice and I'm so glad I got to know him.
You girls were so good to him and I know he appreciated everything you did even if he did get a little crabby towards the end.
I will always remember the smiles you could get from him Roxy even though he was so sick and hurting.
The pain is gone now and he is with your Mom.
May he rest in peace.

Detta, Linda and I are so sorry about your Father's passing. I know it happened so quick and that it has pained you deeply. Please know that we will keep you in our prayers and thoughts. We hope you find some peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering and he has been reunited with your Mother.

P.S. Hopefully there are no clothes lines in Heaven that he could run in to. :o)
