At ORNL, Dean was my mentor on a major project that I was leading at K25. I will never forget his encouraging manner and positive attitude. A really great person to have had the privilege of knowing.

I'll never forget that day back in 2007. I was super stressed and Dean suggested I take a break and go kayaking. So I grabbed Glen and within moments we were gliding down that beautiful lake behind our houses and I had forgotten what I was stressed about. He was a truly magnanimous individual and will be greatly missed.
