Kathy, Audrey, Paul and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We pray that your cherished memories will bring you some comfort. We know that his children and grandchildren brought him much joy.

DEAN WAS AN INSPIRATION TO ME
IN MY CAREER WITH THE KROGER CO. I STARTED WITH THE COMPANY IN 1983 WHEN HE WAS
VICE PRESIDENT OF MERCHANDISING
AND WILL NEVER FORGET THE ENCOURAGING WORDS HE HAD FOR
A NEW PERSON TO THE COMPANY. I
HAD THE PRIVLEDGE OF WORKING FOR HIM WHEN HE WAS PRESIDENT
OF THE DALLAS KMA FOR KROGER
AND CAN ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW
HE WOULD LISTEN TO SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS OF HIS PEOPLE. HE WAS A FINE MAN AND WILL TRULY BE MISSED.
