Not sure what to say?

Thank you Dean for the patience and advice you offered to me and my children... We miss you so very much! You are a special person !!

Dean and I were great friends through junior high, high school, and college. We were team mates on the track and cross country team. After I left Utah, I lost touch and have tried for quite some time to connect again. I was excited tonight to find his name and picture on the Highland High School Facebook 40th reunion page, only to discover a few moments later that I've missed the chance to reconnect with a dear friend. Dean has been in my thoughts all these years, and will always be...

My deepest condolences go out to you, Marty, and to your daughter, Sarah. I had the incredible experience of being able to work along side Dean and the many clients that we shared. His knowledge and compassion were endless, as was his love for you. He never tired of talking about how much he loved you and how much he respected and admired you. I cannot begin to imagine the hole in your heart that his passing has left. I hope that you and Sarah will find a measure of peace in this time of...

I was very sad to hear from a friend Dean had passed away. Although I hadn't seen Dean in a year or so, he was always someone whom I could call with a difficult case and he would give me the wisdom I was seeking and usually a laugh that I just enjoyed. He was a beautiful soul and will be missed in the therapeutic community!

Our family was shocked and stunned when we found out that Dean had passed away. We cannot express enough our appreciation and honor of knowing him and trusting in him fully to assist us with our adopted children and to help us understand how serious their past experiences could affect their lives. He was right. Children can be healed when treated with respect and kindness. We know. That is how he ALWAYS treated our family. Steve, Jeri, Ashlyn & Tony Johns

Dean was a good friend in High School and he will be missed.

I was lucky enough to be in a cohort with Dean at the University of Phoenix for two years. He could always be counted on to provide knowledge, caring, and humor in everything he did. Dean always seemed to move through even the most difficult situations with grace. I consider myself and my classmates to be have been fortunate to have Dean as a part of our learning experience.
He will be missed by many.

Me and my family have had the privilage to have known Dean for the last 14 years. I began to see Dean for weekly sessions in 1996 when I was 15 years old. He has helped me, my brothers, sisters, and mom through a difficult divorce. Just recently in June, my kids and I have began to see Dean for weekly sessions to help me and my three children transition through my divorce. It was a total shock to hear of his passing. It's going to be even harder trying to explain this to my three kids because...
