Sorry to hear about your mother's death. We remember her well when you lived on 1st Avenue and when our parents got together for their dinner club. She was a beautiful, cheerful, happy person. Best wishes to you all!

I enjoyed working with Deana at the federal court and also met Doug on several occasions. I was out of state at the time of her death and funeral. I sincerely hope that her family will find much comfort in wonderful memories, and assurance that this life is not the end.

Aunt Deana was one in a million. I will always remember Christmas Eve with her and Uncle Doug as an indispensable part of the season. She had a way of showing that she genuinely loved and cared for you. She had an energy and enthusiasm about her that was contagious.She lived a wonderful life and is now having a joyous reunion with her husband.The Joyce family loves her and Uncle Doug and wish to express our sincere sympathy at her passing.

Grandma Scott, I will miss Christmas Eve Dinners. I have such fond memories of those Christmas Eves.... John, Brent, Wally, and the rest of the Scott clan, my heartful condolences..

Mixed emotions are streaming through my soul. I am so sad this lovely lady decided to take the ultimate journey. I am so very happy for Aunt Deana! I'll bet Uncle Doug is so happy to see her happy, beautiful soul. They are quite a great and marvalous couple. They made me feel like everything in the world was an adventure. There was nothing that they could not conquer or explore as best friends.

As a neighbor kid growing up on Canterbury Drive I spent many hours in the Scott home. Sister Scott always made me feel welcomed and loved; treating me as "one of her own". She had a warm sense of humor and loved to prod us into dating girls within the ward. "You guys are blind", she would often say. Plus there was the added benefit of a rather large stock of Pepsi products readily available.
