Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened by Dea's passing. Dea was one of my instructors at WIU, and I had the wonderful opportunity to serve as her research assistant for a year. I can recall many meaningful conversations in her office, as well as jamming out to rock albums at her house. Dea was truly one of a kind. I offer my deepest condolences to her family.

Pam I'm so sorry to read if Deas's passing. My most sincere sympathy to you and the family. May all of your memories sustain you though this time. May she rest and peace.

Sending condolences to Dea's family and friends. I always enjoyed talking with her at our class breakfasts. She will be missed and always remembered for her sweet smile and lovely personality! RIP to one of the BEST!

My deepest sympathy to her family & all who knew and loved Dea. I had the good fortune to meet Dea in 1980, when she interviewed me for a job at Gettysburg College. While I did not end up working with Dea, much to the chagrin of my grad school mentors who knew her, I was able to connect with her at various professional conferences until I left the career counseling field in 1985. I only learned earlier this year that Dea had returned to the Lehigh Valley, a mere hour from where I live. I´m...

I started the grad program at WIU when I was 36 years old and there were times when I felt out of place and "less than" because of my age. Dea set me straight, several times. She made me see how that new beginning was just that, a beginning of something good. She was right. For 25 years, I guided college students, as she guided me, giving them confidence, clarity, and positive motivation. Dea was a fountain of knowledge, wisdom, and fun! I looked up to her in awe. I still do. I´m sure she is...

Pam and family.... So sorry and surprised to hear of Dea's passing. Haven't seen her for awhile...used see her frequently grocery shopping. I do have pictures to remember her.....they are from our wedding....54 years ago! I am sure you will all be missing her a lot since there was family time with her after she returned to the Valley. She certainly talked about her time spent with all of you....especially her time with Amanda. Please accept our condolences.... Terry and John Thomas
