I was deeply saddened to hear of Ms. Rand´s passing. As my 7th grade teacher, she made a lasting impression on me-not just academically, but as a person. I still remember her kindness, high standards, and the way she made students feel seen and capable. I am grateful to have been one of her many students. My heartfelt condolences to her family and to all whose lives were shaped by her, of which there are many.
