I just saw Dr. Sullivan Morgans information of her passing. She was one of my favorite professors. She not only took an interest in her students work but in her students well being. I was lucky to sit in her class Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Sending many prayers to the family!

Deatra was my favorite professor at Elmhurst College. She wrote letters of recommendation for me and made me interested enough in the field of Communications to make it a minor. A wonderful person and professor. Will be missed.
