Debbie Rea Clark, 52, of Fieldale, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Sovah Health in Maetinsville.  She was born in Martinsville on July 25, 1966 to the late Willie Everett “Fireball: Rea and the late Virginia Anne Mitchell Rea.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Clint Hardy and Marty Hardy and a sister, Charylene Blankenship.


Debbie was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bassett.  She worked as a quality control supervisor at Springs Global.  Debbie received an associate degree from the National Business College in Martinsville.


She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Herbert “Pete” Clark; two sisters, Judy Hardy of Henry and Connie H. Moore of Martinsville; sisters-in-law, Tina Jacobson Pruitt (Bruce) of Martinsville and Lisa Canenguez (Cesar) of Annandale; brother-in-law, Ricky Lacy;  nephews, Grayson Blankenship of New Castle, Reese Wiggington of Henry, Taylor Hardy of Henry, Tony Jacobson of Collinsville, Chris Jacobson of Collinsville, Michael Wells of Bassett; nieces, April Galyen of Rocky Mount and Susan Jacobson of Ridgeway; four great-nephews; one great-niece; canine companions, Beau and Ruger; feline companions, Jack, Silver, Riley, and Grace; and her brood of 23 chickens.


In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to the SPCA of Martinsville, 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112.

In loving memory of a wonderful sister. We will love you and miss you always. It's was so hard to give you up so young and I loved you so much I can't put into words.
