As the tears stream down my face, and as I struggle to understand why I am so deeply moved by Debbie’s passing, my heart goes out to the Alves family as they too deal with the loss of this truly wonderful person. I was Debbie’s high school boyfriend and close friend of the family from about 1968 to 1970. The fond memories of Debbie and her generous and loving family come flooding back to me as I write this. The Alves family took me under their wings during those years and George and...

Debbie and I worked together for years at HP. We shared LOTS of laughs both at work and outside of work as well. We had a standing joke with each other that we would greet each other with "what happened to your hair?" It still makes me laugh to this day. So, Deb, be sure to ask the Big Guy upstairs what happened to his hair. Heaven just got a little more fun... My love and thoughts to Deb's family. I am so sorry for your loss.

It is a sad day indeed that our friend has gone before us. I first met Debbie when she was an electronics tech in micro up at HP. Later we worked together in Learning Products as technical writers. She always mixed an element of fun in the work place. Her off-beat sense of humor brought many a smile to my face. May God bless and keep our Debbie Jo.

It's been many years since I've seen Debbie. My husband Jim used to see her most everyday at HP. What I remember most about her is that she loved to ski on our boat. She was always so pretty with a great tan and blonde hair, looking many years younger than she was. I remember her stylish sunglasses that she would hide behind with a content smile. The guys loved to tease her and she took it well. She was always a fashion statement on the boat with the newest ski outfit and ski's. She was a...

Dear George and Family,
While there are no words that may ease the pain of such a devastating tragedy, may your memories and faith carry you through. Rest assured, your loss is deeply shared by the multitude of friends that Debbie has made throughout her time with us, albeit too short. I know I will treasure the memories that I have of growing up with Debbie, as she holds a special place in my heart. Her spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all who had the pleasure to...

Learning of Debbie's Passing today reminded me of what a delightful friend I had in elementary school and Junior High. Although our friendship had not been kept current, I will always remember her very individual style and ability to be wonderfully funny and creative. When I felt like a awkward little girl she was my friend. I am so saddened by her departure. I shall pray for her family and be reminded of the fragility of our lives. Blessings to her family.

My condolences to Debbie's family and friends. I knew her from her H.P. days and she was a terrific co-worker. She was always cheerful and friendly. Years after we worked together she would stop to chat when we passed in the halls. I'll miss her and her smile.
