Deb was truly an amazing woman who will be remembered for many reasons by many people. Those of us who refer to her as "Momma Parks" will always remember her for her warm heart, welcoming personality, kind words and free spirit. We will miss the laughter, the smiles and the good times. Momma Parks opened her home to us many times when her son Steve was home on leave and I personally will always cherish those memories of her.

Continue to watch over all of your children from Heaven...

I was saddened to hear that Deb passed. Deb was an inspiration to me and many other on our fight for freedom. She made a difference and will be missed. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Deb... in your memory, We will hug our freedom each and every day... and we will 'Let not our hearts be troubled'...we know you are at peace and in God's keeping. Well done Patriot, well done.

Deb was a true Patriot. I knew her on line. She used to say, "Have you hugged your freedom today?" I love that phrase and she will forever live on in my mind because of it.
