Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim, I was doing one of my infrequent Facebook scans today and saw Kimberly´s wonderful tribute to Debbie. I´m sorry I had no idea she´d passed! I know this continues to be such a loss for you as you´d spent most of your lives together. Vance and I still talk about the few, but wonderful, times we shared with you, especially dinner at your home. Know that we pray for you and are constantly grateful for the gift God provided for me to be part of your team. Grace and...

My heart is hurting as I picture a world without Debbie in it, but I am comforted by the knowledge that she is with our Lord and is still with us in spirit. Cheering with her at SHS was the highlight of high school for me. She was an awesome friend and leader to everyone on our squad.

Jim, I enjoyed reconnecting with Debbie while you were in Atlanta reminiscing about our days at Springbrook and laughing about life. I am so sorry to learn of her passing. She was always such a delight to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Jim, we continue to pray for you and your family. We pray for comfort, healing and the peace that passes all understanding. Shalom (in all its forms) Steve and Sandy

Alluring Elegance Bouquet

I recall the first day I met Debbie in the President´s Office at Emory University. Her spirit and smile lit up the room. She was compassionate and loved her family and causes. She inspired me. Jim, know that I´m praying for the good Lord to comfort and strengthen you and your family in this difficult time.

To the Wagners, I only met Debbie at several Carter Center functions, but saw in her the devoted and caring wife and citizen so richly described. Jim, please know you have the condolences and prayers of all in the Emory-Carter Center families. Terry Adamson

I remember meeting Debbie shortly after you both arrived at Emory. We parked next to each other in the Publix parking lot. I introduced myself and was immediately warmed by her smile and ease. Debbie was a very fine human, indeed, and I will keep these memories close. Her star will shine brightly forever.

May God's peace and love cover you and your family.
