Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to just be reading about Debbie's passing. I worked for her at Sears in Chicago back in the 80s. She was such a good buddy! Took me to Cubs games, went out for cocktails, had me over to her beautiful home(s) and treated my like gold. I am so sorry I did not know until now. I had been thinking about her as I realized I hadn't gotten her annual holiday letter and kept meaning to contact her. I had some devastating family health issues over the last year, and kept putting it...

Debbie was AMAZING in so many ways. My condolances to her family and her many friends - she will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. Debbie and I have been friends for almost 30 years - she has been a part of every celebration and every struggle in my life. I already miss her ready laugh, sense of humor and friendship. Debbie was remarkable, she will remain in my thoughts and heart forever.

I met Debbie through my sister Flora. We all went to Ball State although I was in graduate school while they were undergrads. We all lived together during one summer school. Debbie was such a loving, caring friend. My husband and I were able to spend this past March visiting with Debbie while we spent the winter in Naples. Throughout these last days she was always so positive and never complaining. We had a St. Patrick's Day party at her house with some of her Florida friends. Debbie,...

To the Watson Family: My sincerest sympathy on the passing of your sister and aunt. I met Debbie in High School and will always remember her for her smile and fun-loving ways. May God bless and keep her safe and healthy now and at peace. Pam Domasica (Munster, IN)

My sincere sympathy to all of Debbie's Family,

I met Debbie our freshman year in high school and this wonderful friendship continued for 47 years. We laughed often about our many antics through high school, college, and those first jobs. Debbie developed an amazing career in Chicago and --do you know anyone who can renovate a dozen houses happily? I became a mom and lived vicariously through her wild and crazy single days in Chicago. We helped each other through those trying...

To Debbie's Family,
I met Debbie in 1983 when she was a buyer at Sears. Our first meeting in her office led to a wonderful friendship that lasted over 25 years. Whenever she came to New York on a buying trip we always managed to have an evening of dinner, theatre and late night champagne at the Palm Court in the Plaza Hotel. It became standard operation procedure and we would sit for hours sharing stories.Debbie had a great sense of humor, always supportive of whatever you wanted out of...

To: Debbie's family & friends:

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Debbie six years ago when we moved to Naples, Florida. Being neighbors and new to the area, Debbie became our "go to" person. She was always there to lend a hand or to offer advice during our many renovations, and we quickly became friends.

Debbie was one of the most positive people we have ever known, and we found ourselves easily drawn to her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. We spent...

To Debbie's Family and Friends

What a wonderful person Debbie was. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. It has been years since I seen her, but thought of her often. I worked with Debbie several years ago here in Naples. What a wonderful sense of humor she had. It was so sad when she left that company. She made work fun. My heart goes out to you all. She will be very much missed. God Blessed us all with having the opportunity to know her. I too will not forget her.

To all of Debbies Friends & Family;

I am shocked to hear of Debbies passing! We would often pass each other in the many labs and testing sites that we had to endure with our illnesses. She looked so good and was still so upbeat that I never thought she would lose her fight!

I worked as her assistant in Property Management along with our frind Ginny. She was the best person to work for. Always appreciative and honest with us. It was not hard to develop a true...
