When I was 8 yrs old I joined our grade school fast pitch softball team. That's when I met the Parvin family. Debbie, the oldest sister was a yr older then me and played short stop. Penny was a yr younger then I and played 1st base. June was also on our team even though I don't think she was more then five. Their mom Wilma, was one of the coaches. I became the teams catcher.
