Deborah Paulette Davis, age 65 was called home August 14 at 4:30 from a short illness. She was a daughter, sister, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother and friend.


Deborah was born on June 1, 1955 to her mother Louise McCullens in Raleigh North Carolina. She was raised with three brothers, Larry Davis, Anthony Davis and Michael Davis, and a sister, Teresa Davis (Walton). Deborah was raised in New York City, where she lived for many years.


Deborah has a family that loves her. Deborah has one child, Stephanie Ricco, a granddaughter, Jonel Perez, and a son in-law Edward Hewitt. She is an Aunt to Cheryl Davis (Mercado), Lamont Davis, Remy Davis, Raven Davis and Anthony Davis. She was a great Aunt to Letisha McKellips, Danielle Mercado, Kaylen Mercado and Jose Reyes. She is a great, great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.


Deborah worked for Bon Secour at an Oncologist office for many years. She loved helping people. She has a host of coworkers who truly loved her.


Some of the things she loved to do were playing computer games, watching Sci-Fi shows and listening to music. She loved to take a cruise while on vacation with one of her closest friends, Gerry, whom she has known for more than twenty years.


Deborah loved the shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Star Trek. She loved to read fan fiction of her favorite shows.


Deborah worked very hard for many years. She wanted to travel and spend more time with her family once she was finally able to retire.
