One year later and it seems an eternity since my dear BFF Debbie passed away. Yet I dream of her often (people say that's when your deceased love one pays you a visit) and think of her daily. I know it's been a tough year (understatement) for all who knew and loved her, especially her family (and mine too!). I love you dearly Deb and can't wait to see you in Heaven.

A year later and I miss her more each day. I often (way often!) stop and think of her and when I do her laugh comes through as clear as if she is standing right next to me. Altough Debbie has been gone for a year, she still lives on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. I will always be thankful that she came into my life and feel blessed to have called her my friend.

Debbie came over to my house for the first time 22 years ago, & told me later she was prepared to not like me. This might be the only time she was ever wrong!! We immediately became friends.
We went through hilarious times & tough times together (-ever have awful Mexican food for Thanksgiving? Sing so loud that the neighbors object?) but we always had each other's backs. “Debbie-do” was one of my daughter’s first words. Debbie was all about her fierce loyalty to family and friends, her...

It has taken me along time to finally get on here to say something, every time I tried, I would end up crying. Today is no different. Debbie was like a mother to my 2 kids, Madi (Deb's other Madi) and Nate. We took Dani and Madi to their first concert together, went shopping in the city for their first "big girl dresses" for the Father/Daughter Dance and shared many other 1sts with our girls. She would take Nate to David's motorcycle races (which Nate LOVED) without me when he was as little...
