My deepest sympathies to all of Debbie's family. Deb and I go wayyy back, St. Catherine, Sacred Heart and Riverdale. That is many sports, boys, memories, proms, and secrets! I remember the many parades uptown walking from her grandmother's house (before Jan and Donnie were married). Playing ball in the street on Phosphor with Ms. Sue watching from the step. To the family of Debbie Dodson, I was saddened to hear of your mothers passing and had heard how brave she was during her fight with this terrible disease. I had the pleasure of working with your mom at Hartford Insurance Co many years ago and remember all of her children but I doubt you would remember me. Rachel, we feel blessed to have known your mom. I still remember when I first met her how full of life she was and so easy to talk with. I remember her love for LSU and all the talks about her life in Louisiana after we moved to TN. What stands out the most was her love for her Grandchildren.
