Deborah Lynn Ewald

Mrs. Deborah Lynn Ewald, 53, of Eldorado, passed away at 7:25 AM, Friday, October 16th, 2009 at Ferrell Hospital. Deborah was born in Norris City, Illinois on November 27, 1955, the daughter of the late Charles York and Sylvia (Harris) Maurer. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Eldorado Care Center Deborah is survived by two sons Christopher J. Wiley of Harrisburg., Bobby J. (Lynn) York of Germany, three sisters, Becky (Tim) Pate of Granite City, IL., Lisa (Pat) Hayes of Bethalto, IL, Linda Dennis of Eldorado, three brothers, Gary (Alexis) Maurer of Evansville., Larry (Barbara) Maurer of Harrisburg, IL ., Ricky (Pat) Harris of Hecker, IL, grandchildren Brittany and Bethany York of Collum, IL and Heather N. Wiley of McLeansboro and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Deborah was preceded in death by her sister Jackie Smith. Funeral Services at Colonial Terrace Funeral Homel, Eldorado, IL, at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 19th, 2009 with Tim Pate officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 11am to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and can be left at the funeral home.
