DEBORAH ELIZABETH McLELLAN GILLETTE MARION, SC - Deborah Elizabeth McLellan Gillette, 58, died Friday, September 20, 2013 at home after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Richardson Funeral Home, burial will follow at Palmetto Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Gillette was born in Marion, SC, a daughter of the late Willie Carpenter McLellan and Celia Clark McLellan. She is also predeceased by brothers, W.C. McLellan, Tommy McLellan, and Charlie McLellan; and sisters Lucy Boatwright and Mary Ellen Causey. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Robert Gillette of the home; sons, David Rouse of Phoenix, AZ, Robbie Gillette, Eddie Gillette, and Ricky Gillette, all of Marion; daughters, Martha Rouse of Marion, Nikki Turner (Tye) of Phoenix, AZ, Savannah Gillette, Karolina Gillette, and Angel Gillette, all of Marion; brothers, Robert McLellan (Shelby) of Marion, Cicero McLellan of Florence, Roy McLellan (Mary) of Virginia; sisters, Ann Trosper (Max) of Mullins and Nancy Ratley of Mullins; special sister-in-law, Flora McLellan of Marion; as well as seven grandchildren. No one who ever met Deb can forget her laughter and her kindness. Her family is everything to her. I was blessed to call her friend. I will miss her. Deb your beautiful inside and out. God be with you until we meet again. I'm counting on you to save me a seat.

Debbie will be missed by every person who's life she touched. She was an amazing person and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family at this sad time.

It is not without heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a person whom has had such an impact on every life she graced. Grandma was an all around incredible woman who succeeded in bring joy to all those around her. The memories of laughter we have shared with her is something we will cherish always. We will miss you endlessly.

You will be missed.I have known Debbie for the last 24 years. I just want to thank you for always treating me like family. For always being there for me every time I came over to your house as a kid and as an adult. Thank you for all your kindness towards me. You will never be forgotten .
