Not sure what to say?

Gimbel Family,

My sincere condolences on your lost. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with both Deb and Bruce at SJMHS. Deb was such a kind and quiet yet strong presence. I had the opportunity to work with Deb 1-1 when she supervised my work as an MSW, during those times, she always treated me as her equal and I never got the chance to let her know how empowering that was for me as a newbie in the field. It is moments like this that remind us all the importance of sharing...

To The Gimbel Family,
I use to work with both Dr. Bruce and Deb Gimbel at what was then, McAuley Outpatient Mental Health & Chemical Dependence Services. Deb was such a graceful woman and phenomenal therapist who has impacted the lives of so many people. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Bruce, Michael, Ross and Lauren:

It was such an honor to be with all of you at Deb's funeral service yesterday. I was privileged to have worked with Deb at SJMHS for a number of years. I will always remember sharing the experience of working on the Low Fee Clinic with Deb. She gave so much to her students and to each of us. Her wisdom, intelligence, warmth and gentleness were gifts that she shared so freely.

Deb's life was an inspiration and her memory will...

Dear Gimbel Family,
Your wife, mother, sister was such a beautiful person to me. What a gift to have had the chance to know her. I'll not soon forget the way she held the space; safe, predictable, gentle. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. I am so grateful. I share your grief and hope that the love that surrounds you now will carry you through this time.

My condolences to your family. I worked with Deb at SJMH OBS for quite a few years. She always had a smile for me and was such a great person. I came across this obituary quite by chance, I hadn't seen Deb in a couple of years and didn't even know she was ill. Take care of yourselves, she would want that. She will be missed.

Dear Gimbel Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.

I know Deborah was a wonderful, beautiful and generous person inside and out.

To Deborah's family,

I knew Debbie in Jr. High and High School in New Britain. We were very close friends during that time. Over the years we lost track of one another. But I always remembered her as a sweet and dear friend. She helped me to knit my first sweater when we were in 7th grade.

I am so very sorry to hear of her illness and passing. Please except my deepest sympathy for your loss.
Most Sincerely,

Bruce, Michael, Ross, and Lauren,
My condolences to all of you for Debbie. Debbie was a very kind and warm person knowing her.
Our thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Bruce, Ross, and Lauren.....our thoughts are prayers are with all of you. Deb was a bright light to me whenever I was with her. Her thoughtfulness and kindness to our family will always be remembered and treasured. Alice Appenheimer
