As a teacher, miss Hogan gave away free books to any student that were interested. I still have the two books she gave me as a senior year parting present. She had an effortless way of evoking laughter in the classroom while lecturing on the dry technicalities like comma splices and semicolons. Ms. Hogan was my mentor teacher during my student teaching. She was awesome. I'm so thankful for her guidance and support in helping me become a teacher. Not only did she make a difference in her student's lives she helped future teachers learn to do so.
