Mrs. Jacobsen taught me at Southwest State Technical College in the LPN program she was Mrs. Connelly then. I remember how she loved her husband, children and her parents. She would share numerous funny stories about her dad and his doctors/hospital visits. She made students excited about becoming a nurse, and she instilled in us the pride and nurturing that came along with being a nurse. Her smile was truly awesome and indeed did light up a room.
