Not sure what to say?

Ten years is a long time and I am sure a lot has changed in the McKee family. One thing that will never change is the love in all of our hearts for Debbie.

Hello my family and Friends of Debbie. On this occasion when we remember Debbie leaving us just a year ago, I thought it was so special to come across something last week that she wrote in a book given to Tippy (Deb's sister-in-law) when she graduated from nursing school in 1974. Here it is:

THE QUIET HOURS
It is good to pause and rest a while
From life's demanding pace...
To leave the loud,
Chaotic crowd
And find a peaceful place.
To...

To the McKee family:
To let you know that Debbie is still missed and thought of frequently.
She took a chance on me and gave me my start 7 years ago in Lawrence. I still strive to give half as much as she did. She gave her all.............

To the McKee Family, my deepest sympathy to all of you for your loss.

Deb will always be remembered for her hard work and devotion to helping children with special needs.

On a personal note, I will always remember my beloved Deb for:

Always greeting me every morning with a smile on her face. The laughs we shared as I crashed her into doors, walls, and any object in our path. The many silly arguments we had about her awful eating habits. Her favorite...

DEBORAH ADRIAN MCKEE -
MY AWESOME SISTER

Debbie (Borah) was an outstanding, wonderful person. Not only was she my sister she had been one of my very first friends since I was born. Last year for my birthday she gave me a card that said just that -
S I S T E R S -

She was one of my very first friends, and she's still one of my best.

She's someone I knew would always take my side, always be there for me, no matter what.

I can't...

Deb (Bora) has been one of my lifes best blessings. We worked together at Lunk's greenhouses, participated in many church youth activities, babysat the Blaine's pool, were summer missionaries together, goofed around with the gang as teenagers. So many wonderful memories of a true and loyal and FUN friend! She was my maid-of-honor when Jerry and I were married. Through the years our friendship never faded even though the years took us in different directions. One phone call brought us back...

Debbie

The years went by
It seemed so fast
We always thought
That time would last

She loved us all
With all she had
Her passing leaves us
All so sad

Always looking
For a way
To better our lives
and live the day

Her faith so strong
Her courage great
We're sure our Lord
Just couldn't wait

So now we live
With holes in hearts
The pain just as
A piercing...

I had the extreme privilege to work with Deb 15 years ago in the Hamilton-Wenham school system. I was fortunate to work beside her for three years interpreting for a deaf student in her class.I was "fresh" out of college and eager to start my first teaching job. I learned more from Deb in those short years about education and the important aspects of teaching than I ever learned in my schooling. Deb was a phenomenal teacher and support for her students. She took an interest in learning ASL...

I'm Free
"Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I am following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, or love, to work or play...
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy,
a friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah,...
