Debbie and I were very good friends in 7th grade at Iroquois High School. We remained friends throughout high school, but lost touch afterward. We ran into each other a few times, and I saw her at HealthSouth a couple of years ago. I had no idea that Debbie was ill, and I wish I would have known. I've learned more from Debbie in the past few months that she was sick than I've learned in my whole life. She touched a lot of people's lives (including mine). She had more faith than I could ever have or ever dream of having. Debbie fought and good fight, and she won in my eyes! She's Home and free now.
