Mial, Deborah Pauline Freeman, Age 54 of Waldorf, Maryland

Deborah Mial was born November 17, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Samuel and the late Daisy Freeman. She departed this life on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at approximately 9:00 p.m. at Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL.

Deborah, more affectionately known as Debbie, attended John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School in Philadelphia, PA were she graduated in 1969. She also attended one year of college at Mercer Community College in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.

From 1976-1978 she lived in Burlington Township, New Jersey, and then moved to Alexandria, VA were she met and married Woodrow Mial on August 1, 1981. Debbie worked as a retail manager for several companies such as, 7-Eleven, Super Fresh, Safeway, and Burger King Restaurants.

Debbie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Alfred Freeman of Philadelphia; daughters, Rayetta Freeman of Landover, Maryland and Jessica Mial of Largo, Florida; two sisters, Marilyn Dayton of Waldorf, Maryland and Henrietta Gray of Killeen, Texas; one brother, Anthony Freeman of Waldorf, Maryland; three granddaughters, Dayna and Yania Freeman and Aleeyah Johnson; two grandsons, Aaron and Elijahaun Freeman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her Viewing and Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel, 3439 Livingston Road (State Route #227) Pomonkey, Maryland. Viewing 9:00 am; Service 10:00 am.

Her Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Maryland.

Arrangements entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, P.A. Pomonkey, Maryland.
