DEBORAH J. ORESIK "Debbie" Porter, Indiana Age 51 passed away Friday, January 26, 2007 at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso. Debbie was born on September 27, 1955 in Valparaiso. She was very active in the John Mallee Baseball Program in Griffith. Debbie is survived by her loving husband of almost 32 years, Mark Sr.; son, Mark, Jr. and daughter, Dawn Oresik, all of Porter, IN; parents, Donald & Twyla Boswell of Hobart; 4 sisters: Sharon Clark, Pam Boswell (Gene Winquist), Nancy Boswell & Paula (Lai Salmonson) of North Carolina; brother, Greg Boswell (Kelly Weldon) of Hobart; mother-in-law, Irene Oresik of Lake Station; sisters & brothers-in-law, Maggie (Robert) Adams of Georgia, Maria (Vernon) Wright of Portage, Melonie Oresik of Merrillville, Myles (Wendy) Oresik of Washington State. Debbie was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Michael Oresik, Sr., and brother-in-law, Michael Oresik, Jr. Funeral services will be Monday, January 29, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, with Pastor Jim Thompson of Portage Community Bible Church, officiating.
