Not sure what to say?

RIP, my friend.

I remember Deb as a great chess player. A good bowler at the 2 Lane bowling bar on Saginaw Street. And, as a dear friend.

Debbie shared her birthday with our service kitty B J. For several years she came over on that day and we celebrated with tea and cup cakes. Our kitty loved her, as did any kitty she ever met. She was a gentle but lively Spirit. Also her massages saved my neck from the permanent damage of arthritis. She was a Gift and we miss her still.

I loved Debbie. She was intelligent. She always won me at chess and could out-drink me.

She was a great chess player. I knew from the '70s she was a good and great person.

Aww hell. Simone (Debbie) was supposed to live forever. She had one of the biggest spirits I've ever known and I loved her. I was still hoping we had one outlandish adventure in front of us. I learned of her passing by searching the obits; she never missed sending me a birthday email or text, but none arrived this year, and she didn't respond to my birthday text to her last year.. If you knew her well you knew all the wacky, wonderful, curious and brilliant things she was. If you didn't...

A PS, the emails and text out of the blue, are not whole messages, but Debbie's name registers on them, on special days when we are thinking of her already. I bet she has reached out to other loved ones as well.

Fo an example of Debbie reaching across to us, last June 23 on her birthday that one of us shares and she came here every year for - on that day she came up in a text, though she was long gone from my contact list. I am telling you, she is probably doing this for many loved ones, and it should not be explained or reasoned away. So, Happy Trails, as she would say.

All this time later and Debbie Palmer still finds a way for her Spirit to reach across boundaries and get our attention. A favorite song shared or a repeated email sent in when nothing was sent out...leave it to Debbie. We believe anything is possible with the Love of the Holy Spirit, and Debbie showed that Love almost every day. We love you, Debbie Palmer! And thankyou for Everything.
