Read MoreI just learned of Debbie's passing. She and I were friends thru business and though I only knew her for a few short years, I came to love her as a friend. I'm sorry, I missed the celebration but she knows I'll celebrate the prvilege of knowing her. She taught me the urgency of living and for that I am forever grateful. She will be missed.

Debbie was such a courageous woman with a wonderful sweet spirit. Even though she was battling cancer, she managed to make it to so many high school events. God bless her sweet soul. What a humbling experience it was to see her two weeks before her death to have her lecture me on succeeding in life. I'll never forget that and I cry everytime I think about that selfless act. She was a wonderful person. I know that she's in heaven now with the Lord and I know that her little dog is right there...
