Not sure what to say?

Miss Seaver was my teacher in 2nd grade, and one of my favorite teachers I ever had, and, dare I say, the best teacher I ever had. She was so kind, funny, and thoughtful. When I fell sick with Leukemia as a little girl, after I got out of the hospital she would always send me letters to ask how I was doing. She was the only teacher to ever do so, that is how thoughtful she was. This was years after I was in her class, too. Her thoughtfulness and care for her students was not bound by time....

My condolences on the loss of Debbie. A sweet girl who I recall from my school days as always kind. It's hard to believe that time has passed this quickly from those happy days.

My sincere condolences to Debbie's family. Here's a photo from Monticello's 1973 graduation.

Debbie was a dear friend and fellow teacher from my teaching days at Longfellow school. She loved quilting and shared her talents with so many making quilts for my children and grandchildren. She was kind and always thinking of others. She will be dearly missed. Sending warm thoughts and prayers to the family.

Rest in Peace my dear friend. You brought much joy into my life. I will continue making and donation quilts in your honor to keep your generous spirit alive. Your California Friend, Jeri Ciraolo

Thoughts are with family. Memories will come especially whenever I think of quilting certainly at Christmas when I bring out her quilted tree prayers
