Debby lived across Hillside Court from us in Glen Oaks in Scotia in the mid1970's. She was often at our house, and always a welcome, calm and kind presence. She was a close high school friend to my sister Kathleen, entertained me as a little kid and was even the confirmation sponsor to my sister Chris. Debby was a ray of sunshine. She was funny, sweet, thoughtful, generous, brave, and the list could go on. She loved her family and friends, and was one of the most generous people I have had the honor of knowing.
