As we are coming up to the 50th anniversary of the Nursing Class of 1972 at Downstate and past the 50th for Brooklyn College SDS, I did a Google search for Debra. I am so sorry that I didn't reach out earlier. I remember her as a collaborator against the Vietnam War and at the beginning of 2nd wave feminism and as a classmate. Sending love and condolences to you, her family

Dr. Gutterman always felt like family. Still does. I enjoy seeing her twins' continued growth into amazing adults. She would have been so proud.

Dearest Dr.Deb,David is in hospice care now,but still with us due to the excellent care physically and emotionally that you gave him and I.You kept us together and that made a huge difference in his survival of his terrible disease.I'm sad that others don't , i,get a chance at life because you are gone now.We miss you, much luvnhugs,Dave & Sheila

May the blessing she shared with so many now bless her soul and her family.

I have fond memories of Alan, Nettie and George. They were always kind and supportive and it was so nice to be able to spend time with them. I was so sad to learn of Debi's passing but im happy she became a dr and was able to help so many people. You dont know me of course but i hope you find some comfort knowing i...
