Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

Debra Marie Heffron (nee Yeager), passed away, Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Loving wife of the late Ron Heffron.  Beloved mother of Cory (Michelle) Heffron, Chris (Paula) Heffron and the late Heather Heffron.  Dearest Nana of Carter, Evie, Breanna, C.J., Jeremiah, Adam, London, and Olivia.  Dear great grandmother of Meredith and Ava.  Cherished sister of Pam Yeager Harrawood and Brian (Tina) Yeager.  Dear sister-in-law of Kat (Tom) Brooks, Randy (Nancy) Heffron and the late Gary (the late Judy) Heffron.  Dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Debra was born in St. Louis to the late John "Jack" and Jean Yeager.  Her family moved to the Rockwood School district where Debra would meet her best friend, Nancy Wood Wiegert. The two friends were inseparable throughout their school years and then eventually graduated from Lafayette High School.

Debra later met and married the love of her life, Ron Heffron, and they had 3 children and 43 wonderful years together.

Debra devoted her time and attention to raising her children and was an exemplary wife and mother.  She often traveled with Ron for his work to several countries and she was particularly fond of the time they spent in Australia.  Debra had a special place in her heart not only for her family but also for animals, especially her dogs.  She enjoyed spending time crafting and she enjoyed watching a good movie.  She will forever be remembered for her undying love of family, sweet disposition, her unwavering care for her daughter and sons, her protective nature and even her tendency to be a "goofball" at times. Debra has left behind a wonderful legacy and will forever remain in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.
