Debra Ann Jarvis an eight year resident of Tenino, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at home. She was 49. Debra was born July 9, 1962 in Seattle, Washington to Kayo and Kari (Knudsen) Weber. She grew and attended schools in Seattle. She later attended nursing school in Seattle and at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia. Debra worked at Providence Saint Peter Hospital in Olympia for many years. In addition to Seattle and Tenino she also lived in Littlerock and Elma. She married Stephen Warren Jarvis in Idaho in 2003. He survives her at the family home. Debra enjoyed collecting coins, old and new toys, Christmas ornaments and rocks. She also enjoyed 4-wheelin', shooting, fishing and hunting. She loved spending time with her grandkids and going to concerts. She especially enjoyed attending two James Last concerts in Europe with her stepfather, John Carstensen. In addition to her husband, Stephen, Debra is survived by her children, Kristina (Scott) Pomerleau, Lacey, WA, Karin Pomerleau, Tacoma, WA, Jacob Jarvis, Tenino, WA, Christina (Wayne) McLoy, McCleary, WA, Aron Jarvis, Elma and 8 grandchildren. Debra is also survived by her father, Kayo Weber, brothers, Ken Weber, Reed Weber and Rick Weber, her stepfather, John Carstensen and her dogs Briar, Chica, Booker, Blue, Paco, Choie. She is preceded in death by her mother, Kari and her brother Chuck Weber. According to her family, Debra was a wonderful wife and mother. The best grandmother a child can have. She will be dearly missed. A celebration of Debra's life will begin at 1PM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma followed by a potluck reception at the Elma Eagles.
