Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home - Sebring Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Debra Marie Latimer.  She was born on November 30, 1965 in Arcadia, Florida. Debbie , as she was known by family and friends, worked for the Highlands County Clerk of Courts, and resided in the city of Sebring.

Debbie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her kind and giving nature. Debra is survived by her husband, John A Latimer, her children, and stepchildren - Josh Dazey, Tara (Shane) Yoder, John (Megan) G Latimer, and her four grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and “grandma”, always putting her family first.

Debbie's family and friends will remember her for her warm and caring personality. She was known to be generous and kind, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.

Instead of a traditional funeral service, a celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at a later date.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be considered to the American Cancer Society or a similar charity in Debra's memory.

Not sure what to say?

I was shocked and heartbroken to hear about Debbie, my sincere condolences to her family and friends. I considered her a great friend and business associate. We work closely together during her employment at Keiber Law . She will be missed by all those that had the opportunity to know her.

Debbie, I'm so glad we got to go to lunch on Good Friday, we were planning it for months. I know John is just gonna b lost without you, we are all going to miss you!! I know ur Mom w be happy to see you. Love you - forever!

Will be sadly missed condolences to the family

I pray that God will comfort, strengthen and bless John and Deb's family and friends with the presence and love of Jesus Christ. We were so blessed to have her and thank the Lord for her. She is sorely missed in the county office. For many years she worked so well with us in the Property Appraiser's office and property owners on the value adjustment board as clerk and was always very professional. The house she was so eagerly looking forward to turned out to be so much better than she...
